    How can I tell your cashmere is real Grade A cashmere?
    Our scarves are woven from 100% pure Grade A cashmere, the highest grade, made from the longest and finest fibers (about 14 to 15.5 microns thick and 34 to 36 mm long). Real Grade A cashmere feels soft rather than scratchy, is remarkably light for how warm it is, warms quickly to the touch, and springs back when gently stretched rather than staying misshapen. It also resists pilling far better than shorter Grade B or C fibers or cashmere blends. A genuine burn test smells like burnt hair and leaves a soft ash, unlike the plastic bead left by synthetics.

    Is a cashmere scarf the same as a pashmina?
    A true pashmina is cashmere, woven from the fine undercoat of Himalayan Changthangi goats, so the terms overlap. The word pashmina is often misused for silk-blend or viscose wraps, so the key is the fiber: our scarves and shawls are 100% pure cashmere, handwoven in the traditional way, which is what gives them that weightless warmth and soft drape a genuine pashmina is known for.

    What is the difference between handwoven and hand-felted cashmere?
    Handwoven cashmere is woven on a loom, giving a light, fluid scarf or shawl with a soft drape. Hand-felted cashmere is worked into a denser, more substantial fabric, giving a warmer, more structured wrap. Both are 100% cashmere; the choice is about weight and feel, and each product page tells you which method was used.

    Can I choose the color?
    Yes. Many pieces are made to order, and the cashmere wedding wrap is offered in more than 80 colors. If you want a specific shade that is not shown, tell us and we craft it for you, which is ideal for coordinating a bridal party or matching an outfit.

    Do these make good wedding or gift wraps?
