- Stand straight and look forward in a relaxed position.
- Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your neck where a shirt collar would naturally sit.
- Keep the tape level all the way around.
- For comfort, leave space for one finger between the tape and your neck.
Shoulder Width
Across the Back
- Stand naturally with shoulders relaxed — do not pull them back.
- Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other shoulder across your back.
- Follow the natural curve of the shoulders for an accurate measurement.
- Keep the tape flat and do not measure too high near the neck.
Desired Sleeve Length
- Stand straight with your arm relaxed in a natural posture.
- Start measuring from the edge of your shoulder where the sleeve seam would sit.
- Measure down your arm to where you want the sleeve to end.
- Keep the tape following the outside of the arm and avoid bending the elbow.
Chest Circumference
- Stand up straight with your arms relaxed at your sides.
- Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, typically right under your armpits.
- Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
- The tape should be snug but not tight enough to restrict breathing.
Stomach Circumference
- Stand up straight with your arms relaxed at your sides.
- Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your stomach — usually above the waistband and around the belly button area.
- Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
- Hold snug but do not compress the skin.
Hip Circumference
- Stand with your feet together and your body relaxed.
- Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips and seat.
- Keep the tape level and parallel to the floor all the way around.
- The tape should be snug, allowing room for one finger for comfort.

High quality, comfortable, and open to changes
This was my second order from Baron Boutique, my first being their reproduction of the Black Velvet Frock. I was very impressed with the first coat, so I went for this one, I had been wanting a replica of the twelfth doctor’s signature coat, but the thicker wool that most companies make it out of was off-putting being that I live in a warm country, so seeing a thinner version here was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the coat with the default colour and lining, but I requested the red middle cuff button, which Baron were happy to add. Once the coat arrived it was beautiful, but too long, so at no extra cost they offered to remove some of the length. Upon getting it back it was absolutely perfect, the wool feels more like that of a high quality suit jacket, which is exactly what I was hoping for, and captures the very dark blue of the original. The lining feels very silky and is perfectly added, being very close to the edge but with a thin strip, just like the actual coat. It has two inside pockets, and the two outside pockets are extremely deep. The buttons look and feel great, with no worry of becoming loose. Overall I’m very happy once again, and am already looking at ordering a third coat from Baron Boutique.

I recently came into possession of some lovely Screen accurate Fabrics for a 12th Doctor blue coat. Having heard great things about Baron Tailoring from the vast cosplay community, I took a shot.
I opted for The test coat to get the best fit possible. It was a little snug, so with a few small alterations to my sizes, I sent the real fabric over to them. When the real coat arrived, it was almost perfect, with the small problem of an extra breast pocket. Since I had leftover fabric, baron were more than happy to rectify this issue, though it did mean an extra few weeks for the shipping back and forth.
What can I say about the finished article? It is absolutely flawless. Fits perfect, and utterly beautiful. I Will Certainly be buying more items From Baron In the Future, Just no unasked for additions next time guys!

The fit is just right (not too loose, not too fitting), and the fabric is light like a suit coat (for where I live, this is a blessing). There is one minor gripe I have, my coat is missing the lapel hole, however this is not a big deal. Overall, I am satisfied with the coat and the customer service was quick and efficient.
