- Stand naturally with shoulders relaxed — do not pull them back.
- Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other shoulder across your back.
- Follow the natural curve of the shoulders for an accurate measurement.
- Keep the tape flat and do not measure too high near the neck.
Desired Sleeve Length
- Stand straight with your arm relaxed in a natural posture.

This is a reproduction of The Second Doctor’s coat, and Baron really nailed it. A good approximation of this coat would be a baggy long black coat with peaked lapels. What I think a lot of people would miss is the extra fabric for putting your hands in (of course in a hacked off dress shirt underneath!), the special breast pocket (which I couldn’t even begin to tell you the proper name), and the cut of the back (a lot of people would assume it fades in or would be like the back of a tuxedo jacket).
I’ve ordered a number of clothes from Baron over the past few years and they have a high attention to detail. Aside from confirmations and questions to make sure they make the right fit, they also take a lot of time and get as much reference as possible for a reproduction item like this.
Simply put, this is the product of a lot of hard work by them. The weight and fit of the coat I received was excellent. It’s very well made, I’ve had a couple of people tell me that the tailoring is very good when I had to have things taken in (because I lost weight).
If you are looking for an excellent reproduction of this item, this is your find! You cannot beat the price and the quality is very high. The details here are as spot on as I can tell.
