Care
Caring for a Pastel Cashmere Scarf
Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent or wool wash, soak for 8 to 12 minutes, press the water through without wringing, rinse in cool water and dry it flat on a towel out of direct sun. Pastels fade in strong sun, so dry and store it in the shade.
Light colors show makeup at the neckline; dab marks with cool water before they set. For storage, fold it clean with cedar or lavender.
The open weave can catch on rings, bracelets, zips and bag straps. If a thread pulls, ease it back from the other side with a blunt needle. Never cut it.
