How tight should the measuring tape be?

Bridal shops usually fit a gown over several appointments; we do it at home, in cotton, before the wool is cut. On a sheath, the corrections that matter most are the U-neck, which must lie flat when you lean toward someone, the seam under the bust, which must sit exactly under it, and the back skirt, which needs enough room for the hem to stay level when you sit through a ceremony.

Only once you are happy do we cut your final cloth, so the finished dress is a fit you have already seen and approved, not a gamble.
The length is always wrong on me. Can you get it right?
Yes. Because the hem is cut to your height, not to a standard size chart, you get the exact length you want, on the knee, midi, or full length, with the proportion balanced for your frame.
