Measure across your back from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other, keeping the tape flat.
Measure from the edge of your shoulder, along the outside of your relaxed arm, to your desired sleeve length.
Measure around the armhole where the sleeve joins the body. Pass the tape from the top of the shoulder, under the armpit, and back to the starting point. Keep the tape comfortably snug. Measure over a lightweight shirt or close-fitting clothing, keeping your arm relaxed at your side.
With muscles relaxed, measure around the fullest part of your upper arm. Keep the tape snug with room for one finger.
Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist bone, where a watch would sit. Keep the tape snug but not tight. Leave room for one finger between the tape and your wrist for comfort
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the neck, over the fullest part of the bust, and straight down to your desired garment length. Continue to the desired hem for the garment you are ordering, whether it’s a shirt, jacket, blazer, coat, or full-length coat.
Measure around the base of your neck where a collar would sit, keeping the tape level with room for one finger.
Stand straight with your arms relaxed. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level and snug with room for a finger.
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, typically above the belly button. Keep the tape level with room for one finger.

Measure around your ankle or the width of the trouser hem on a well-fitting pair of pants (flat, across x2).
Measure from the top of your waistband down the outside of your leg to the point where you want the trouser hem to finish.
Measure from the highest point of the crotch down the inside of your leg to the same hem point used for the trouser length measurement.
Women’s Measuring Guide
All you need is a flexible measuring tape, a mirror, and ideally a friend to help with the shoulder and back measurements. Wear close-fitting clothing so the tape sits against your body, stand naturally with your weight even on both feet, and keep the tape level and snug with room for one finger. Below is every measurement we may ask for. You do not have to get each number perfect: we send a free test garment before cutting your final cloth, so the fit is confirmed on your body first.
Stand straight with your arms relaxed and wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level and snug with room for one finger.

Free Test Suit
Black hides seams and pockets, but it does not hide drag lines. Light catches every fold in a dark, slightly lustrous cloth, so a jacket that pulls at the bust or trousers that bunch under the seat show it more than they would in a pattern. Those are the two corrections we make most on women’s suits: a bust that is fuller than the waist and hip measurements suggest, and a smaller or flatter seat that leaves loose cloth below it.
Sometimes a body asks for a change the style cannot take cleanly, such as an extra dart through a smooth black front. When that happens we tell you, and you decide whether the suit should follow your body exactly or keep the look in the photos exactly.
