Why Partner With Baron Boutique?
We are a bespoke tailoring house, not a mass manufacturer. Every garment is cut and sewn after your customer orders it, by tailors who have been doing this since 2000. That changes what a retail partnership can look like: you are not buying into a season someone else designed, you are commissioning what your own customers actually ask for.
Whether you are expanding a menswear floor, adding womenswear, introducing screen-inspired pieces for collectors, or bringing in handwoven cashmere scarves, shawls, and sweaters, the work is made to your brief. Garments are made from superfine wool, wool-cashmere blends, silk-blend fabrics, and linen and linen blends, and cashmere is handwoven in Nepal.
If a piece is not right for your customer, we would rather tell you before it is cut than after. That is the part of a partnership that usually matters most.
What We Offer Retailers
- Custom Product Curation: We build the range around your customers, your price positioning, and your aesthetic, rather than sending you a catalog and asking you to choose.
- No Forced Stocking: There is no mandatory range to carry and no seasonal buy-in. You order against real demand, from 5 pieces per style.
- Multiple Product Formats: Bespoke for a customer measured in your store, made to your measurements for a guided remote fit, or pre-defined sizes for a rail. Combine all three in one order.
- We Can Hold Your Stock: Commission a run, leave it with us, and we ship piece by piece to your customers as their orders arrive. See Two Ways to Buy below.
- Materials That Justify Your Price: Superfine wool, wool-cashmere blends, silk blends, linen and linen blends, and 100% cashmere. Your customer can feel the difference, which is what makes a premium price defensible on your floor.
- Known Cost Before You Commit: You work from a wholesale price list. Your margin is yours to set, and you set it knowing exactly what the piece costs you.
- Made in Our Own Atelier: Hand-cutting, tailoring, and quality control all happen in our own workshop in Kathmandu. Nothing is subcontracted out, so when something needs fixing there is one place to fix it.
- Flexible Branding: Carry the Baron Boutique label, your own, a new label built for your store, or a co-brand.
- One Partner, Several Categories: Menswear, womenswear, screen-inspired garments, and handwoven cashmere, without managing four suppliers.
Two Ways to Buy, and What Each One Costs You
We do not hold a warehouse of finished goods waiting for a buyer. Nothing at Baron Boutique is made before someone orders it. That said, there are two different ways to work with us, and they carry genuinely different risk.
Order per customer
Your customer places an order in your store. We make that piece and ship it. You carry no stock at all, tie up no capital, and hold no risk beyond the order itself. Best for bespoke work, made to your measurements, and anything where fit is personal.
Commission a run and let us hold it
You commission a quantity, we produce it, and it stays in our workshop as your stock. As orders come in, we ship piece by piece, worldwide, direct to your customers or to you. Available from 5 pieces per style, with no storage charge up to roughly 25 to 30 pieces. Above that we agree a storage fee at the time, based on what you need held and for how long.
Worth being straight about the difference. In the first, you own nothing until a customer has paid you. In the second, the stock is yours from the moment it is made, so the risk is real, but you never give up floor space, stockroom, or capital to a shelf. Retailers use the second route for pre-defined sizes, for fast-moving cashmere accessories, and for online stores that want same-week dispatch without a warehouse.
Our Partnership Philosophy
Retailers are not simply our customers, they are our partners. We do better when your floor does better, so we shape the relationship around how you actually trade.
That starts with questions rather than a pitch. Who is your customer, what do they pay, what have you tried that did not sell, and where is the gap you cannot currently fill? A high-end boutique and a niche specialist need different things from the same atelier, and pretending otherwise wastes your money before it wastes ours.
Our Specializations
Menswear
Custom tailored suits, dress shirts, jackets, coats, and premium separates, cut to your specification and your customer’s measurements.
Womenswear
Dresses, tailored separates, coats, and custom pieces. We tailor for women and men to the same standard, on the same patterns-from-scratch process.
Screen-Inspired Garments
Pieces interpreted from screen references for collectors, enthusiasts, and specialty retail. These are original garments inspired by what appeared on screen. They are not exact replicas and are not official, licensed, or studio-authorized.
Handwoven Cashmere
Scarves, shawls, stoles, sweaters, cardigans, robes, and throws in Grade A cashmere, handwoven in Nepal and dyed to your colors with Azo-free dyes.
Linen and linen blends are also available across the tailored categories for customers asking for a lighter, natural-fibre cloth.
Cashmere accessories are also available as branded corporate gifting and as personalized gifts, if your store runs a gifting program alongside its retail range.
Custom Projects & Exclusive Concepts

Have a limited-edition collection in mind, a signature line for your store alone, or something we have not built before? Bring it. Our team spends most of its time turning a rough idea into something that can actually be cut, sewn, and repeated.
Tell us the project in the form below, including quantity and the date it needs to land, and we will tell you honestly whether we can do it well, what it will take, and what it will cost. If we are the wrong workshop for it, we will say so.
For brands that want a full collection produced under their own name rather than a retail range, see our private label production service.
Branding & Label Options
Every Baron Boutique product carries our label as standard. As a retail partner you can instead:
Supply your woven labels, care labels, and hang tags and we will integrate them during finishing, or we can advise on placement and sourcing if you are starting from nothing.
Ideal Retail Partners
We work well with:
- Boutique retailers serving middle to high-end customers
- Specialty stores anywhere in the world with an established customer base
- Retailers whose customers ask for bespoke or custom made pieces they cannot source
- Businesses adding a category without committing to a seasonal buy
- Stores building exclusive or limited-edition collections
- Online retailers who want made-to-order or stock-held fulfillment without a warehouse
Local boutiques, international retailers, and niche specialists are all welcome. What we look for is a shared view that a garment should still be worth owning in year five.
