Powder blue and light blue linen are the benchmark palette for coastal and destination weddings in 2026. The problem is not finding a blue linen suit — it is finding one in 100% linen, cut to your body, half-lined for actual heat rather than the appearance of summer. This two-piece blue linen suit is made to your measurements in 100% pure linen across 18 colors, with a half-lined jacket and unlined trousers designed for genuine warmth, canvas front construction, and horn buttons throughout. Before we cut the linen, we send a free test suit to confirm the fit at home.

Men’s Measurement Guide
Follow these simple steps to ensure your custom garment fits you perfectly. All you need is a flexible measuring tape.
Jacket Measurements
Suits, Blazers, Shirts, Vests & Coats
Desired Jacket (Garment) Length
Shoulder to Hem
- Stand straight in a natural posture with your arms relaxed at your sides.
- Start measuring from the top of your shoulder, right next to the base of your neck.
- Measure straight down along the front of your body to where you want the jacket to end.
- Keep the tape straight and do not curve it around the body.
Neck Circumference
- Stand straight and look forward in a relaxed position.
- Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your neck where a shirt collar would naturally sit.
- Keep the tape level all the way around.
- For comfort, leave space for one finger between the tape and your neck.
Shoulder Width
Across the Back
- Stand naturally with shoulders relaxed — do not pull them back.
- Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other shoulder across your back.
- Follow the natural curve of the shoulders for an accurate measurement.
- Keep the tape flat and do not measure too high near the neck.
Desired Sleeve Length
- Stand straight with your arm relaxed in a natural posture.
- Start measuring from the edge of your shoulder where the sleeve seam would sit.
- Measure down your arm to where you want the sleeve to end.
- Keep the tape following the outside of the arm and avoid bending the elbow.
Chest Circumference
- Stand up straight with your arms relaxed at your sides.
- Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, typically right under your armpits.
- Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
- The tape should be snug but not tight enough to restrict breathing.
Stomach Circumference
- Stand up straight with your arms relaxed at your sides.
- Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your stomach — usually above the waistband and around the belly button area.
- Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
- Hold snug but do not compress the skin.
Hip Circumference
- Stand with your feet together and your body relaxed.
- Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips and seat.
- Keep the tape level and parallel to the floor all the way around.
- The tape should be snug, allowing room for one finger for comfort.
Wrist Circumference
- Relax your arm and keep your hand in a natural position.
- Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist bone — where a watch would sit.
- Keep the tape snug but not tight.
- Leave room for one finger between the tape and your wrist for comfort.
Trouser Measurements
Trousers, Dress Pants & Shorts
Trouser Length
Waistband to Hem
- Stand straight wearing a well-fitting trouser or in a natural posture.
- Start from the top of your waistband where you normally wear your trousers.
- Measure down the outside of your leg to your desired trouser hem length.
- Keep the tape straight and do not measure diagonally.
Trouser Waist
Where Your Trousers Sit
- Identify the exact position where you normally wear your trouser waistband — typically just below your navel.
- Measure around your bare waist at this exact point, keeping the tape level and parallel to the floor.
- Stand in a relaxed, natural posture. Do not suck in or push out your stomach.
- The tape should be snug but not tight — you should be able to place one finger between the tape and your body.
Hip Circumference
- Stand with your feet together and your body relaxed.
- Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips and seat.
- Keep the tape level and parallel to the floor all the way around.
- The tape should be snug, allowing room for one finger for comfort.
Thigh Circumference
- Stand with your feet slightly apart and your weight evenly balanced.
- Start at the top of your inseam, near the crotch area.
- Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your thigh.
- Keep the tape snug with room for one finger to avoid measuring too tight.
Trouser Leg Opening
Hem Width

- Lay a well-fitting pair of trousers flat on a table or smooth surface.
- Smooth out the fabric so there are no wrinkles at the hem.
- Measure straight across the bottom hem from one edge to the other (flat width).
- Do not measure around the full opening — this measurement is taken flat across.
Rise
Crotch to Crotch
- Stand straight in a relaxed posture.
- Start measuring from the back waistband where you normally wear your trousers.
- Bring the tape between your legs and up to the front waistband.
- Keep the tape close to the body for an accurate rise measurement, without pulling it too tight.

Description
The Blue Linen Suit Built for Coastal and Destination Weddings
Powder Blue Is the Standout Color for Beach and Destination Weddings. The Problem Is Finding One That Fits.
Light blue and powder blue linen suits are the benchmark look for beach formal and coastal wedding attire in 2026 — every major wedding publication agrees. The color photographs exceptionally well against ocean, sky, and coastal backdrops. It reads as deliberate and considered in a way that black or dark grey does not at an outdoor summer ceremony. The problem is not finding a blue linen suit. The problem is finding one cut to your body. Off-the-rack linen at S/M/L sizing wrinkles unevenly, bags at the chest, and photographs as an approximation of formal rather than the thing itself.
This two-piece blue linen suit is made to your measurements in 100% pure woven linen — 18 colors including blue, light blue, cornflower, dark blue, and navy — with a half-lined jacket for maximum airflow and fully unlined trousers, designed specifically for heat. Canvas front, horn buttons, hand-finished buttonholes throughout. Before we cut a single yard of your linen, we send a free test suit to confirm the fit at home.

The Fit Guarantee
Linen in the Wrong Fit Photographs the Same Way in Every Climate
The reason most men look underdressed rather than relaxed in a linen suit is fit — not the fabric. Linen has no structural memory. It follows the body it was cut for. When the chest is wide, when the shoulder sits wrong, when the trouser break is too long, the fabric makes no effort to hide it. In a coastal or resort setting where photographs are taken in natural daylight — the harshest possible condition for revealing fit errors — those problems read permanently into the images.
Before we cut your blue linen suit, we build a complete two-piece test suit — jacket and trousers — in cotton, to your measurements, and ship it via trackable courier. You try it on at home. Check the chest, the shoulder, the trouser break. Send your notes. We correct the pattern. Then we cut the linen. The test suit is yours to keep.
Built for Genuine Heat
Why This Suit Is Half-Lined When Most Linen Suits Are Fully Lined
Most linen suits — even those marketed as summer suits — are fully lined. The lining is an acetate shell that runs the full length of the jacket interior. It makes the jacket easier to put on and take off, and it protects the linen shell from sweat. It also traps heat against the body and eliminates most of the breathability advantage that makes linen the correct fabric for hot weather in the first place.
This jacket is half-lined — the lining runs from the shoulder to mid-chest, leaving the lower half of the jacket interior bare linen. Air circulates through the fabric rather than against a sealed acetate interior. The trousers have no lining at all, which is correct for a summer suit worn in genuine heat. This construction trades some of the convenience of a fully-lined suit for the actual breathability that justifies wearing linen in the first place.
If you are wearing this suit at a destination wedding in August, at a coastal ceremony in Santorini, or at any event where the temperature will be above 30 degrees, the half-lined construction is what makes the difference between comfortable and not.
Who This Suit Is For
The Men Who Need a Suit That Works in Real Heat
The wedding guest at a destination or coastal ceremony
You have been invited to a wedding in Greece, Portugal, Italy, the Caribbean, or anywhere the temperature will be genuinely hot. You need to look formally dressed without wearing something that makes you uncomfortable within thirty minutes of the ceremony. A half-lined blue linen suit cut to your measurements is the correct answer — it photographs well against coastal backdrops and is actually breathable in the way the occasion requires.
The groom who wants blue linen rather than a three-piece
The three-piece linen groom suit is the more structured option. This two-piece is the one for the groom who wants a lighter silhouette, a relaxed coastal register, and a suit that moves easily through a full day outdoors. Blue linen for a beach ceremony or vineyard wedding reads as chosen for the occasion rather than defaulted to — which is the effect most grooms are looking for when they choose linen over wool.
The man who needs a suit for summer work events and outdoor receptions
Not every occasion requiring a suit is a wedding. A linen suit that fits correctly works at summer garden parties, outdoor corporate events, and any formal occasion held in warm weather. This suit is built to be worn multiple times — canvas front, quality construction, 18 linen colors — not as a single-use purchase.
The buyer who found everything available either fits badly or isn’t real linen
Most “linen” suits sold at accessible price points are linen-blend — 55% linen, 45% polyester — which is cooler than full polyester but defeats the purpose. 100% linen in the correct weight breathes completely differently from a blend. Canvas front construction holds its shape indefinitely rather than collapsing after a few dry cleans. Made to your measurements means the suit actually fits the person who ordered it.

Dress the Whole Wedding, Not Just the Groom
A coastal or destination wedding has its own visual language, and a blue linen suit worn well sets a confident register for anyone in the wedding party. These are four garments built for the same broad occasion — warm-weather formal, made to measure, each with a different silhouette and a different level of formality. If you are still deciding on your own attire for a beach, vineyard, or destination ceremony, each of these is an equally considered starting point.
The Groom’s Three-Piece Linen Suit
The full ceremonial version — a three-piece with vest in 100% linen for the groom who wants the vest to keep him formally dressed when the jacket comes off at the reception. Same fabric, more structure, built for the centrepiece of the occasion. View this garment →
A 100% linen frock coat with canvas front and horn buttons — for the guest at an outdoor summer ceremony who wants the frock coat silhouette rather than a standard suit jacket. Same fabric logic, completely different presence. View this garment →
A mandarin-collar tunic and floor-length silk-lined cape in Super 130s Fresco wool — for the groom at a destination wedding who wants a silhouette that is genuinely impossible to mistake for anyone else’s. View this garment →
A black mohair tuxedo in Super 140s merino-mohair blend — for when the destination wedding moves from an outdoor ceremony into a formal candlelit evening reception that calls for a different register entirely. View this garment →

Another Well Made Suit
When I asked about the customization of this my sixth suit, I asked for a material that is lighter than the suits I had made out of cotton. The answer back from Baron Boutique was linen. I now have the suit and it is perfect. If you are contemplating ordering a suit from Baron Boutique, make it the suit you’ve always seen yourself in. A custom suit must have the pockets the way you want them, the buttons, the linings, and of course the fit the way you want them. Baron Boutique will deliver. Communication on the details, optimizations, and status is excellent. In the small matter of a suit, you can have it the way you want it.
