The signature formal ensemble from the unforgettable 2019 cinematic staircase scene is reimagined here in rich burgundy Melton wool paired with a striking gold waistcoat. Custom-made entirely to your exact measurements, this premium three-piece suit is engineered as a refined, wearable interpretation of a legendary look for everyday high-fashion statements or archival collections rather than a disposable, single-use costume. To guarantee an absolute, flawless fit on your frame, every order includes a complimentary cotton test suit built to your numbers so you can review and approve the drape before our master tailors cut your final luxury cloth.
Follow these simple steps to ensure your custom garment fits you perfectly. All you need is a flexible measuring tape.
You do not have to get this perfect. Send us your best measurements and we craft a free test garment to your numbers first, so the fit is confirmed on your body before we cut your final cloth. Every piece is custom made to your measurements, and the test garment is yours to keep.

Before You Order
Your questions, answered
Ordering a garment made to your measurements should feel reassuring, not nerve-racking. Here are the doubts men most often have, and exactly why you can set them aside.
I have never bought a suit I could not try on in a shop first. How do I know it will fit?
Because you do try it on first. Once you send your measurements, we make a free test garment in a stand-in cloth cut to your numbers and post it to you. You put it on at home, check the shoulders, chest, waist, and length, move around in it, and send us your notes and a couple of photos. Only once you are happy do we cut your final cloth, so the finished suit is not a leap of faith, it is a fit you have already seen and approved on your own body.
I am worried I will measure myself wrong.
You do not have to get it perfect. The videos and steps above walk you through each measurement one at a time, a friend or a local tailor can help with the ones that are easier with a second pair of hands, and if you are unsure you can send your best numbers. The free test garment exists precisely to catch anything slightly off, we see the fit on your body and adjust before your final cloth is touched, so a first-try measurement is completely normal.
I have always struggled to find clothes that fit me. Broad shoulders, an athletic build, a longer or shorter torso, or a fuller waist. Is this really for someone like me?
It is made for exactly you. The men who fight hardest with off-the-rack are the ones who benefit most here, because there is no standard size to squeeze into. We cut to your proportions, broad shoulders with a trimmer waist, a fuller stomach with a shorter jacket length, a long or short back, so the garment follows your body instead of forcing your body into a shape it is not. There is nothing wrong with your build; there are only your measurements.
My body is not symmetrical, one shoulder sits lower or my posture is not textbook. Can you cut for that?
Yes. A garment made to your measurements is built for real bodies, not idealized ones. Note anything particular in your order, or simply show us on the test garment, and we adjust the cut, a lower shoulder, a fuller seat, a forward stance, and confirm it before the final cloth is cut. This is exactly what the process does that a size on a rack never can.
It is a lot to spend on something custom made. What is my safety net?
Your safety net is that nothing final, and nothing costly, is cut until you have approved the fit on the free test garment. You are not paying for a gamble, you are paying for a garment whose fit you have already confirmed on your own body. And a well-made piece that actually fits gets worn for years, so the cost per wear is usually far lower than the compromise suits and jackets that sit unworn in the wardrobe.
I need this for a wedding or a specific event and I am anxious it will not be right on the day.
Tell us the date when you order and we plan the whole timeline back from it, including the free test-garment stage, so there is time to confirm the fit and make any adjustments with room to spare. For a dated event we recommend ordering two to three months ahead. Because you approve the fit on the test garment before the final piece is cut, you are not walking into your event hoping it fits, you already know it does.
What if it arrives and something is still not quite right?
The final garment is cut to the exact fit you signed off on the test garment, so surprises are rare by design. If a small tweak is ever needed, your finished piece carries seam allowances so a local tailor can fine-tune it, and you can always contact us and we will help make it right. You are never left alone with something that does not work.
What if my weight changes before the event, or later on?
Take your measurements as close to the date as you can, and if your size shifts before we cut the final cloth we simply work to your new numbers. For afterwards, your finished garment is made with seam allowances so a local tailor can take it in or let it out within reason, and we keep your measurements on record, so ordering another piece that fits is simple whenever you want one.
Do I really need someone to help me, or can I do this alone?
You can absolutely do it alone. Most measurements are straightforward to take on yourself with the videos above, and only a few, like across the back and shoulders, are simply easier with a friend holding the tape. Either way, the free test garment is the real check: whatever you measure, you confirm the fit on your body before anything final is made.

2019 Staircase Villain Suit: Bespoke Three-Piece, Built to Your Measurements
There is one specific cinematic moment in the 2019 film that every single frame builds toward. The main character descends those urban stone stairs in a striking burgundy Melton wool three-piece suit, his gold waistcoat cleanly catching the light, and the world finally sees what he already knows about himself. The clothing does not just fit his frame. It completely transforms his presence.
That definitive transformation is exactly what this garment is engineered for. This is far from a disposable, mass-produced costume or a flimsy polyester approximation that you wear for a single night and throw away. This is an archival, screen-inspired reproduction made directly to your unique physical measurements by an expert custom tailor, beautifully finished with a full floating canvas front, meticulous hand-finished buttonholes, and premium heavyweight wool that moves and drapes with immense structural weight.
Every iconic detail of the tailored formal suit from the film’s theatrical climax is preserved here: the dramatic wide peak lapels on the two-button single-breasted jacket, the crisp flat-front burgundy trousers, and the traditional five-button gold waistcoat with its sharp cutaway pointed hem. Custom-sewn entirely by hand, this piece is built around your individual proportions.

Who It’s For
Who This Burgundy Three-Piece Suit Is For
The Luxury Collector / Archival Enthusiast
You have attended enough exhibitions to know the difference between a disposable costume prop and an investment-grade suit. You want an authentic archival reproduction engineered with the exact technical specifications of premium menswear—something that holds its shape and makes people ask where you had it made. This is that garment.
The Dedicated Cosplayer Who Demands Accuracy
Screen accuracy matters to you down to the millimeter. The specific fabric weight, the lapel width, the exact hue of the gold waistcoat—you have done your research. You want a 2019 three-piece replica built by an expert tailoring house that has also done the research, utilizing genuine heavyweight Melton wool rather than a flimsy synthetic approximation.
The High-Fashion Statement Dressing Maverick
You value bold tailoring and expressive color palettes. A rich burgundy and deep gold combination is not something you find in ordinary corporate offices. You want a custom-tailored statement piece that reads as theatrical, intentional, and impossible to ignore—something to wear to events that demand a commanding presence.
The Modern Cinephile & Design Gallery Collector
You are not just putting together a seasonal costume; you are acquiring a physical piece of modern cinematic art. The 2019 film is one of the most visually deliberate theatrical masterpieces of the decade, and this ensemble is its central image. Owning a bespoke, canvas-backed rendition is an essential milestone for any serious collection.
This is not a single-use outfit intended to be discarded. The robust construction, premium winter wool fabric, and high-end price point are engineered specifically for individuals who plan to display or wear it repeatedly across the years.

Questions & Answers
Questions About the 2019 Staircase Villain Suit
Is this a costume or an actual tailored suit?
It is a genuine, high-end tailored suit engineered with premium floating canvas front construction, heavyweight Melton wool, meticulous hand-finished buttonholes, and a premium lining throughout. While it is designed as a screen-inspired archival replica of the iconic 2019 cinematic look, the underlying benchwork is identical to a bespoke formal evening suit. Many of our clients wear it to design exhibitions, film premieres, high-end editorial photoshoots, and formal events well beyond its initial outing.
How accurate is the burgundy red color to the inspiration?
The default option is a rich burgundy red Melton wool, which is the closest textile match available to the suit seen in the movie’s climactic scenes. High-grade Melton wool presents a deep, complex red tone with subtle warmth, mimicking how the suit looks under theatrical film lighting rather than the oversaturated appearance seen in commercial promotional stills. The striking gold yellow waistcoat is also the standard default, completing the full three-piece combination from the memorable staircase sequence.
Can I change the color or fabric if I want a different version of the suit?
Yes. Our order interface allows you to select from a comprehensive palette of 14 distinct Melton wool colors for both the jacket and trousers, and separately for the waistcoat layer. The starting price point remains exactly the same regardless of your preferred color configuration. Many buyers utilize this customization option to craft their own unique, avant-garde interpretation of the silhouette rather than a direct screen-accurate reproduction.
What does the free test suit process involve?
You input your dimensions directly onto our product page during checkout. Our workshop then builds a complete trial three-piece test suit in a neutral cotton utility fabric according to your numbers and ships it out. You try it on at home, evaluate the frame, and compile any fit adjustments you want—such as tapering the chest, widening the shoulders, adjusting the trouser break, or altering the sleeve length. We implement every single update onto your permanent master pattern before cutting the final luxury burgundy cloth. The cotton prototype is entirely yours to keep.
Is the single-breasted jacket two-button or three-button?
It is a classic two-button, single-breasted jacket layout, directly matching the screen-accurate cinematic original. While the sleeve cuffs are configured with three-button vents—which can occasionally cause confusion—the actual front fastening profile utilizes exactly two buttons to ensure a sharp, structured torso drape.
How long does production and delivery take?
The entire end-to-end bespoke journey—including crafting the initial test prototype, integrating your custom adjustments, and hand-tailoring the final three-piece wool suit—typically requires 4 to 6 weeks. We will explicitly confirm the current workshop scheduling timeline upon receiving your order. If you are preparing for a specific red carpet event or comic convention, please contact us ahead of time so we can provide an accurate schedule.
Do you ship these collector pieces internationally?
Yes. Both the interim cotton prototype test suit and the final completed custom 2019 three-piece garment ship worldwide using fully insured, trackable express courier services. Sizing parameters and tracking links are managed transparently via email, allowing global collectors to securely monitor their incoming packages.
Can I order just the jacket or just the waistcoat separately?
This product listing is configured specifically for the complete three-piece garment package, including the jacket, gold waistcoat, and matching trousers. If you are interested in acquiring standalone separate elements for your wardrobe, please contact our design desk before submitting an order so we can arrange custom options.
What are the specific storage and care guidelines for this suit?
This garment is strictly dry clean only. Authentic Melton wool is an incredibly dense, tightly woven luxury fiber that naturally repels wrinkles and holds its shape beautifully over the years, meaning it does not require frequent deep cleanings. Always hang the full three-piece set on a contoured wooden hanger after each use, allow it to air out naturally, and use localized spot cleaning between dry cleans to maximize the lifespan of the floating horsehair canvas front.
Crafted and stitched with loveThis Arthur Fleck suit is crafted and stitched with LOVE. The quality and craftsmanship are the most beautiful I have had and seen, and I have been through several Joker suits.. none of them compare to this. The shape of the suit and all the pockets is very accurate to the movie. The color is a bit darker but still close! The color stated by the actual clothing designer for the Joker movie said it is a wine or burgundy red color, so it’s accurate. Baron did an amazing job staying connected with me and the customer service was top. The suit was crafted with efficiency as well and the shipping was really fast. I am amazed by the eye of detail of this suit. I am a professional cosplayer and can say I will be helping to promote this beautiful suit on my IG. Thank you so much.

Men’s Suit Fit Guide
How a Men’s Suit Should Fit
A suit is judged in the first few seconds and then worn for hours, so it has to be two things at once: sharp enough to command the room, and comfortable enough to sit, reach, and move through a long day. With a suit made to your measurements, fit is not a gamble. There are no standard sizes to squeeze into. You tell us the fit you want and your measurements, we cut the jacket and trousers to your body, and before we cut your final cloth we send a free test garment so the fit is confirmed on you first.
A suit like this is not a one-time purchase. Cut to your proportions and built properly, it becomes the piece you reach for at every wedding, interview, and dinner for years, and still feels like yours long after. This guide covers the four fits we offer and the points to check so it sits exactly the way you want.
Step One
Choose your fit
Slim
Closely tailored through the chest and waist with a lean trouser line. The sharpest, most modern silhouette, for a body-skimming look with less ease.
Standard
Shaped and tailored with a little more room through the body for comfort and movement. The most versatile choice and the one most men are happiest in.
Relaxed
The most room through the body, with a softer, easier line and a straighter trouser. Ideal if you like to layer or simply want maximum comfort.
Athletic
Cut for a built frame, with extra room through the chest, shoulders, and thigh and a trimmer waist, so a muscular or V-shaped build fits cleanly with no pulling.
Step Two
The fit checkpoints
Shoulders
The seam sits right at the edge of your shoulder, where the arm meets the body, with no overhang and no pulling. This is the line we cut most precisely to you, because the shoulder is the hardest area to alter later.
Chest & button
The jacket closes cleanly with no strain, no gaping, and no X-shaped pull at the button. A well-cut chest lets you fasten the jacket and still breathe and move.
Waist & length
The jacket takes in gently at the waist for shape, closely on a slim fit, softly on a classic fit, and ends around the middle of your hand when your arms hang relaxed.
Sleeve & trouser
The jacket sleeve finishes at the wrist bone with a little shirt cuff showing. The trouser breaks lightly at the shoe or skims to a clean ankle, whichever you choose. You set all of these.
Every suit is made to your measurements with no standard sizing, in the fit you choose. A free test garment confirms the shoulders, chest, waist, and length on your body before your final cloth is cut, and the test garment is yours to keep.
Your Worries, Answered
The doubts most men have, and why you can relax
I have never bought a suit I could not try on in a shop first. How do I know it will fit?
Because you do try it on first. After you send your measurements, we make a free test garment in a stand-in cloth to those numbers and post it to you. You put it on at home, check the shoulders, chest, waist, and length, and send us your notes and a couple of photos. Only once you are happy do we cut your final cloth, so the finished suit is not a leap of faith, it is a fit you have already seen and approved on your own body.
I have always struggled to find a suit that fits. Broad shoulders, an athletic build, a fuller waist, a long or short torso. Is this really for me?
It is made for exactly you. The men who fight hardest with off-the-rack are the ones who gain the most here, because there is no fixed size to force yourself into. We cut to your proportions, broad shoulders with a trimmer waist, a fuller stomach with the right jacket length, a long or short back, so the suit follows your body instead of the other way around. There is nothing wrong with your build; there are only your measurements.
I am nervous I will measure myself wrong.
You do not have to be perfect. Our guide walks you through each measurement, a friend or a local tailor can help with the tricky ones, and if you are unsure you can send your best numbers. The free test garment exists to catch anything slightly off before it matters, we see the fit on your body and adjust, so an imperfect first measurement is completely normal.
I need it for a wedding or a specific event and I am anxious it will not be right on the day.
Tell us the date when you order and we plan the whole timeline back from it, including the free test-garment stage, so there is room to confirm the fit and make any adjustments with time to spare. For a dated event we recommend ordering two to three months ahead. Because you approve the fit on the test garment before the final suit is cut, you are not walking in hoping it fits, you already know it does.
It is a lot to spend on one suit. What is my safety net?
Nothing final, and nothing costly, is cut until you have approved the fit on the free test garment, so you are never paying for a gamble. And a suit that actually fits gets worn again and again, to weddings, interviews, dinners, for years, so the cost spread across all that wear is usually far lower than the compromise suits that sit unworn in the wardrobe.
Will I still be happy with it in a few years, or is this just for one occasion?
It is built to be owned, not used once. We cut a timeless line rather than a passing trend, and the suit is constructed properly with quality cloth and generous seam allowances, so it holds its shape and can be adjusted as you change. Most men find the suit becomes a quiet favourite, the one they trust for anything important, and five years on it still feels like theirs. That is the difference between owning a suit and simply buying one.
What if it arrives and something is still not right?
The final suit is cut to the exact fit you approved on the test garment, so surprises are rare by design. If a small tweak is ever needed, the finished suit carries generous seam allowances so a local tailor can fine-tune it, and you can always contact us and we will help make it right. You are never left alone with a suit that does not work.
What if my weight changes over the years?
Take your measurements as close to your order as you can, and if your size shifts before we cut the final cloth we simply work to your new numbers. For later on, the finished suit is made with seam allowances so a local tailor can take it in or let it out within reason, and we keep your measurements on record, so ordering another piece that fits is simple whenever you want one.
