How do I measure my bust, waist and length for a custom garment?

Why Most Women’s Dress Pants Skip Back Pockets
It is not an accident. A back pocket only lies flat when the trouser fits the seat well. Trousers never fit my waist and my hips at the same time. Am I just an awkward shape?
