Follow these simple steps to ensure your custom garment fits you perfectly. All you need is a flexible measuring tape.
Measure across your back from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other, keeping the tape flat.
Measure from the edge of your shoulder, along the outside of your relaxed arm, to your desired sleeve length.
Measure around the armhole where the sleeve joins the body. Pass the tape from the top of the shoulder, under the armpit, and back to the starting point. Keep the tape comfortably snug. Measure over a lightweight shirt or close-fitting clothing, keeping your arm relaxed at your side.
With muscles relaxed, measure around the fullest part of your upper arm. Keep the tape snug with room for one finger.
Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist bone, where a watch would sit. Keep the tape snug but not tight. Leave room for one finger between the tape and your wrist for comfort
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the neck, over the fullest part of the bust, and straight down to your desired garment length. Continue to the desired hem for the garment you are ordering, whether it’s a shirt, jacket, blazer, coat, or full-length coat.
Measure around the base of your neck where a collar would sit, keeping the tape level with room for one finger.

Wear close-fitting clothing so the tape sits against your body, stand naturally with your weight even on both feet, and keep the tape level and snug with room for one finger. Below is every measurement we may ask for. You do not have to get each number perfect: we send a free test garment before cutting your final cloth, so the fit is confirmed on your body first.

Free Test Coat
A hidden button front lies flat only when the coat is not pulling across the body; if it is tight, the placket gapes and the buttons show through. So the coat is made first in cotton to your measurements, and you check it buttoned, over the layers you will wear.
