To measure human height, stand erect and measure the distance from the bottom of the feet to the top of the head in a human body. Measure in centimeters or feet and inches.
To measure human body weight step on a weighing scale and stand erect. Human body weight refers to a person's mass or weight. Human body weight is measured in kilograms or pounds.
To measure shoulder width place the tape where the shoulder naturally begins to slope, or where the shoulder seam and armhole seam meet on a well-fitting shirt. Measure straight across.
To measure the back chest put your tape on the armhole seam at the back where it starts to curve inward armpit. Measure straight across to another end. In the picture shown the back chest is 17.5 inches.
To measure sleeve length place the tape on the point where the shoulder seam and armhole seam meet on a well-fitting shirt. Measure straight down your arm to your desire length.
To measure the armhole measure the circumference of your arm-body socket. Measure as indicated in the picture. Few lines discrepancy is not an issue. In the picture shown armhole measurement is 17 inches.
To measure bicep wrap the tape across the widest part of the arm where it meets the body. Do not flex the bicep during measurement. Measure snug with room for a finger.
To measure jacket length pop your collar. Place tape where shoulder and neck seams meet. Measure straight down to desire length usually around a thumb joint.
To measure the neck wrap the tape around your neck where your shirt collar would be with a finger inside. Imagine this is your actual shirt collar and adjust to your desire size.
To measure the front chest put your tape on the armhole seam where it starts to curve inward to the armpit. Measure straight across to another end. In the picture shown front chest is 15.5 inches.
